How much money do each of the Dragons commit to participate in Dragon’s Den on CBC per season?

I think I heard somewhere that they committed $3 million for the second season? Is that correct? What if they didn’t like any of the ideas pitched? Would they somehow be on the hook?

$3 million is about right ! But they dont have to commit to spending ANY of it if they dont like what they see !
